powpow

The Freedom of Powpow
Powpow or otherwise know as powder to all you skiers and snow to all you city folk. It’s the big pillow of pow that we all dream about, at least I do. The thought of it makes some weak at the knees, again that’s me. It’s the powpow that possesses the freedom, the freedom to do anything, go anywhere and let you be sucked into that hippy/surfer attitude of complete organic calmness. Just surfing your way down the mountain on either skis or snowboard, what ever you choose, I like them both. Standing at the top of the mountain looking down, if you’re lucky there are no tracks from other powder junky that beat you to it, it’s the most amazing feeling. But why do we all love it so much? Is it the fresh cold mountain air? The shear beauty of the snow cover mountain? Or the freedom to create yourself the perfect path that makes you feel completely free of all worries, besides hidden obstacles. Maybe it’s all of these combine, you and your friends pushing each other to go bigger and go faster, taking in the fresh air, looking at the gorgeous scenery, and deciding which path you’re going to take next? Actually now that I thing of it, nobody really cares as long as we all get to shred that gnarly, tasty, tasty powpow all winter. I’ll see you on the hill!
